I received the following from Joe Moore regarding upcoming events:
1) John Fejeran (Dawg Soldier) is requesting for a funeral escort for a members wife, Doreen Reyes. Meet at the Yona Church at 1:00 p.m. on Friday 3 Sep. 2010. Burial will be at Tiguac Cemetery in Nimitz Hill. I will be carrying the colors. Please wear your colors.
2) There is also a funeral escort for the late George Cruz (veteran). We will meet at Chalan Pago church at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday 4 Sep. 2010. Burial will be at Veterans Cemetery in Piti. I will be carrying the colors. Please wear your colors and bring flags if you have them.
3) Joe Moore requested that we members start collecting unwrapped children's toys. We plan to deliver them to the Naval Hospital Children's Ward. No date or time has been set. That will be forthcoming .
4) Biker Ball Committee is doing fundraisers to purchase prizes for the Biker Ball. Joe Moore has suggested that the club purchase a microwave and donate it to the committee. Any comments?
